Provincial lawmaker of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday submitted a resolution at the assembly secretariat on poor healthcare in Sindh, saying that hospitals are short of basic facilities. After handing in of the resolution, PTI leader, Aleem Adil Shaikh told reporters that the opposition's primary job is to represent the public in the parliament. He said that Larkana has no government-run ambulance service while Sujawal and Thatta districts lack dog-bite vaccinations to treat patients.

He claimed that the resolution was a move to help provide healthcare facilities to about 600 million people of Sindh, saying that the entire province suffers from the poor healthcare. He also slammed President of PML-N's Punjab, Hamza Shahbaz, saying the cases in court against the league's leadership were not filed during the PTI's rule.

The Sindh Assembly sitting began with prayers to pay tribute to the deceased legislators including MQM's MPA, late Muhammad Wajahat, and former MQM's parliamentarian, late Ali Raza Abidi who was assassinated last month in the city. The treasury also condemned Punjab Information minister, Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan's misbehavior with newsmen. Reporters covering the assembly proceedings also staged a protest against Chohan and shouted slogans.
